DOES A WOMAN'S LEVEL OF EDUCATION DETERMINE HER LEVEL OF RESPECT IN MARRIAGE?
Hey guys , welcome back to my space, it's your girl Zenny and it feels so good to be back๐.
My upload yesterday kinda reminded how much I have missed talking to you and I feel so happy to be back here again and I can't wait to hear from y'all.
Like you guys already know the drill, what we do here is basically bringing up topics especially the ones I have been thinking about and we get to tackle the matter. Honestly speaking I love the kind of conversation we tend to have here and the ideas y'all share too. I always learn new stuffs in the comment section and I believe you guys do too, so it's a win win for us all๐
So let's dive right into our topic for today, Today's topic came out from what a colleague of mine said. We were actually having a conversation about the way forward after the completion of NYSC, we talked about getting a job, a Masters degree etc. One of us happened to have already gotten her master's degree and she's currently doing her PhD and as God may have it she just got married, so a friend of mine made a statement and I quote
'She is so lucky to have done her master's and now doing her PhD, her husband will respect her'
When she said that, the first thing that came to my mind is our topic for today.... I kuku no get strength for argument that day, so I had to save the little one I had to use it and ask for my readers opinion.
Now to you my dear readers.... My question is Does a woman's level of education determine the level of respect she gets in marriage?
For me it doesn't, in as much as it counts but it's not the ultimate.

I agree with you, her level of education has nothing to do with how she is treated in her marriage… it all depends on who she married , is the man someone that respects his woman? And in turn is the woman also someone that respects her man?
ReplyDeleteExactly.... it's a both party thing. Thank you so much for stopping by๐ค❤
DeleteI strongly disagree.
ReplyDeleteA woman's level of education holds no water with respect to how she's being treated in a marriage.
Bag the whole degree in the world, marriage will be the course that really has a beginning but no end.
Respect goes both ways.
The man should respect his wife regardless and the woman should do so too.
It's a union and understanding is key.
Ahbi oo๐คท๐ฝ♀️.... thank you jareh
DeleteNo it doesn't count at all... A woman's education, is just a plus. It has nothing to do with how she'd behave in her marriage. If she has a rottened character, it'll be as so, if she doesn't, it'll be as so. Education does not remove that... As a matter of fact, majority of women tend to grow in pride and the likes with respect to several degrees attained. But if she's humble, she's humble.
ReplyDeleteOo Wow....that counts too. Thank you so much for stopping by๐ค
DeleteYes it does. No partner that has no sound level of education gets an ultimate respect from the other who has it. That is formula. So just like the question mentions "level", there is a varying level of respect partners get for each other depending on their qualities - such as been educated
ReplyDeleteOokay.....you are right too, education is very important but like i said I don't think it's the ultimate. Thank you so much for your comment, happy to have you...๐ค๐
