WHY ARE GUYS OVERLY PROTECTIVE OF THEIR SISTERS BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR FRIENDS?!

So y'all.... Happy new month to you guys and welcome to the month of December and Yeah.....Christmas is around the corner and I can't wait, I'm  sure u guys can't too. Well while we wait... let's keep doing what we know how to do best because we don't have to be caught unfresh this season... yes kee🤷🏽‍♀️, so let's get down to business😂

Today I did love to share a topic that has been on my mind for a while now. I had earlier talked about it on my social media handle, I got a few comments and learnt a few things too but I thought to share it here too just to know my beloved readers opinion. So let's dive right in. My question is 

Why are guys overly protective of their sisters being in a relationship with their friends? 

I got a few comments on Whatsapp. So many people with too many things to say.

-For some it's a "guy" thing while some said that it's not proper... 

-Another person said that sometimes it might be because they know that their friends ain't good enough for their sisters (probably because they had seen how the friend treated ladies in his past relationships). 

-Some said that it could also be because the relationship might cause them their friendship when matters arises... they might find it difficult choosing who's side to be on, I mean these are the two important people in their lives..... 

And Oh someone said that it's just to avoid "See Finish" 🤣

And many more other comments...

Well all these comments are valid but thinking about it, I would like to ask..

What about the ones that don't see it as a problem and even go as far as listing a few of their that they would like you as their sister to be with.... what do we call that one please?.... Is it that they care about their sisters? Or Are they not considering what the other ones are putting into consideration? 

Please guys...I did love to hear your opinion. Don't forget that I have two questions for you now, which are:

Why are guys overly protective of their sisters when it comes to being in a relationship with their friends and Why do some of them (only but a very few) not really mind?
