How I Learnt Life Lessons_The Hard Way

So last time I was wondering how a girl can get all that she wants, all she wants like good job, money and true love, so I had a few experiences that thought me some life lessons. 

First thing I learnt the hard way of course, is whatever it is in life that you decide to do, you need to FOCUS, don’t let distractions stop you, distractions like friends and family, uuuuuhhmmmmm no correction!! friends, family, things you need to do in order to get to the level that you are aspiring to get to and then the efforts you make that seems like nothing (more like you are wasting your time)

Secondly, don’t ever be deceived by what you see, because what you see may depress you.  Maybe because this person looks classy and way too good, therefore you will start feeling bad and maybe now decide to do it by all means either by crook or hook to look classy and upgraded too. I tell you my friend you may not return from that journey because you never can tell some of those things you see might be true and maybe it’s their own time of getting paid for all their hustle and it’s not yet your own time while some might what is called PACKAGING 

Thirdly, don’t ever try to force yourself to achieve your dreams within a short period of time because Life itself is a journey and takes a process, everyone has their own time. Just give yourself a little more time, do the right thing which is working hard and praying, your own time is just by the corner.

So a few of  my old school mates decided to hang out based on the ground that we have not seen for a very long time. I decided to attend, of course the normal me wouldn’t have but on a second thought I decided to at least to try the other me yeeeeesss! so I went. Getting there we sure had a great time but trust your girl, a lot was going on in her mind. First off, I wondering if the people I was seating with are actually my schoolmates cos they look way too good and successful than I expected. For instance, the first person I met, she was looking way too good, you know very nice and expensive clothes, shoes and a very fine and expensive phone. Am not even going to now talk about how she was carrying herself like someone that fell down from the sky, I said to myself, well it is well at least she is not with a car las las nah bus both of us go enter go home. Just then, trust me before I could say Jack Robinson, babe booked an uber ride 

Babe you are still here thinking of how to enter a bus when your mates are booking uber ride. Interesting!!!

Ok just when I thought things couldn’t get any worst, then the adventure even got weirder, so I met this particular one who already has a car, expensive clothes and shoes, very fine and expensive phone too , she has businesses here and there and then an apartment 

 Habaanaaaa  Zee what have you been doing with your life all this while, to think that you are still living with your parents and living off the monthly allowance from your parents, I mean that’s when they remember oooh, what is all this eeeeeh

Hmmmmmmm, in your mind, you thought I left the place right? nooooooo your girl stayed back, that was when I met this particular one that is already married and all she seems to talk about is how her husband is this and her husband is that, how her husband takes good care of her, how she doesn’t take any nonsense and she is the madam of her house, the different countries they had travelled to. 

At this point what advice would you give me as a friend? No wait don’t say what’s on your mind, just tell me sorry, I think that’s better.

 

Just so you know, am very happy for them, but the part that got me feeling bad is when they get to rob it on your face like you are some jobless, way out of their league fellow that is busy doing nothing while they are busy making money. But it’s fine, after all shebi nah me find trouble come, where am busy testing the other me.

At the end of the day, I had to excuse myself from the place, just to save my peace of mind. Some days after the hang out, a lot of things kept on going through my mind for weeks, I had no peace of my mind, went through a lot of things I have been working, and kept on asking myself WHEN WILL MY BIG BREAK COME? At some point I consoled myself and decided to move on before I will get a heart attack and then push myself into the red sea all in the quest of being successful and getting all I want. I decided to take it one step at a time because the more I keep thinking about it; the more I keep feeling like a jobless fellow and maybe at some point even fall sick. Just so you know, the devil works in different ways, he will always remind you of all this just to bring you down, he might even get to the point of using your loved ones to make you feel like you are doing nothing, for me I saw my experience in that outing as one of his strategies, but you know what? Ignore him, Keep PRAYING, Keep WORKING and FOCUS, someday everything will be alright.
