......... Be Real🤔

Growing up, i had alot of dreams and people I had loved to be like. For a few times, if not most of the times I see myself acting like them, copying their mode of dressing and many more. With this you would understand that these people were actually my role models. Majority of us might have found themselves doing same but often times many make mistakes due to the part they had taken in doing this. Some term to do all the things their role models do, even careerwise. One fact is that there is something that is in you which you find in the other person, that this particular person made it through acting, through hair business or better still through makeup business and then music is not a guarantee that you will too. The best thing is to find out God's Purpose in your life, who knows you might be better of.

There are different gifts and purpose God has given to each and everyone of us, it's all left to us to find it. A friend once said that there is no way two people can possibly be exactly the same, there must be something different. I learnt the lesson of appreciating my role models, take the few things I had learnt from them and make myself better and not try to copy everything about them.

However, being real and true to ourselves can be alot of work and not quite easy, in as much as we embark on that journey and try our best to be real, we should also know that there is an act known as "Being real to the wrong people". We can tell ourselves the truth that our attitude in our different homes is not the same when we are in public places. These are two different places. If we all show who we truly are to everyone, alot will go wrong because we might get misunderstood by many, therefore this being real has two different sides.

I'm not trying to justify fake lifestyle, but if we can tell ourselves the truth, there are places that we display our real character and places where we caution ourselves. Not faking to be who we are not can be achieved by being real and true to ourselves but on the other way round let us know that it takes discipline for one to be real, this is because you owe no one any explanation on how you live your life except God.
